JenniferStephanie Italia Ricci was born on October 29, 1986. She is an American-Canadian actress. Her roles include April Carver's character in the ABC Family television show Chasing Life (2014)-2015, and Emily Rhodes, White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor in Designated Survivor (2016) to 2019. Ricci first began acting in American productions in the year 2009 and had minor parts in How I Met Your Mother and House. In the same year, she was featured in the Comedy Central series Secret Girlfriend as Sasha. She played Maggie Winnock in Unnatural History, a Cartoon Network live-action series. She also appeared in a Clean & Clear ad. In 2011, Ricci was a character in the short film Valediction. Ricci played a small role as Don Jon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's first film as a director.
