Ms. Rivas, a licensed and bilingual clinical social worker who worked within the non-profit field for more than 13 years. She worked with various populations, including LGBTQ+ and those with drug addiction problems. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. Dr. Rivas is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and prenatal women. She is a specialist in trauma-informed treatment and an EMDR treatment for adults. Also, she offers private and group counseling, medication assisted treatment as well as referrals to specialty services as well as Women's support groups. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever homes. She shares with the Best Friends motto, Save Them All and hopes to make Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city. Amanda goes beyond her capabilities in order to achieve her objectives.
